Welcome to the CasJam Design Blog.

In a nutshell, the topics covered here revolve around the business of design.  But it goes somewhat deeper than that.  You’ll find articles, interviews, tutorials, bits about such topics as design for the web, online business, freelancing, entrepreneurship, lifestyle design, and everything in between.

A Brief History

If you browse through the archives, you’ll see that this started out as the personal blog of Brian Casel, a freelance web designer from the northeast US.  In late August, 2010, the blog was moved from briancasel.com to casjam.com/blog, and officially changed it’s name to the CasJam Design Blog.

It now serves as an industry publication put out by CasJam Media, a small web shop run by Brian Casel.  Also part of the CasJam network is ThemeJam, a seller of Premium WordPress Themes, and WP Bids, a special WordPress app for creating (awesome) project proposals.
